Multicultural and Social Justice Book List for educators to incorporate in the classroom. Literature ranges from a children’s audience to young adults. All book recommendations on this site have been previewed by the nonprofit organization Teaching for Change and checks for the storyline, the representation, and the quality of the writing. They write “we are also concerned with who is writing the stories, what the characters are doing, how issues of power and activism are introduced, and representations of people in community rather than in isolation.”
